Today’s joy came in the form of a letter from one of my brothers-in-law in England. It was a two-page, hand-written letter with a card indicating that he’d lit a candle for Paul. While I cried, I also had to smile because I recall the letters he’d written in cards to us in the years before, and how much Paul loved that little touch. (It’s also a good reminder for me to get a letter written to him, something I’ve been meaning to do for a few weeks now!)
