I really didn’t know if I’d find joy today. I really thought that, on the anniversary of Paul’s death, I would be lucky to find a tearless moment, let alone a joy-filled one. As I made the long drive to Cle Elum to visit Paul’s grave, I noticed that there were several new wind turbines being put in along the freeway at Ryegrass. And it made me smile so much; which then reminded me of all the times Paul and I drove past the area and had long conversations about the wind farms that you could see in the distance. Green energy made us happy, and having the memory of our conversations today really brought me joy.
